REWA Happy Hour Fun Day

On Sunday 10th June I was honoured to be invited to REWA’s Happy Hour family event. It was a fantastic coming together of a diverse array of people and children and I thoroughly enjoyed my time with everyone. I was even give the honour of presenting the trophy for the best clay statue.

REWA is a fantastic organisation and provides a valuable service in the London Borough of Richmond. REWA was established in June 1998 to empower ethnic women living in LBRuT and encourage isolated housebound women to socialise and to interact with other people from all backgrounds. As in the past this may have been a problem due to factors such as language barriers and cultural differences. Their aim is to provide a friendly environment to improve social conditions and life for women who have need of such assistance.
