This week saw the opening of Gregg's Bakers in Whitton. Along with other recent additions such as Gears for Gears and Station Barbers Whitton is bucking the economic downturn and shows fantastic vitality.
Credit for this turnaround must got to the traders and the Council for their tough resilience. The Uplift Strategy and the Mayor's Outer London Fund have provided much needed investment that has not only put Whitton back on the map and returned its village atmosphere but have created a town people want to invest in. Over the next few years the Conservatives in Whitton will continue to invest and promote Whitton to ensure it remains a town we can be proud of.
