Is your road or pavement in need of repair. Now is the time to nominate your road or pavement to be included as part of the on-going highways maintenance across the Borough. As part of our drive to improve the environment of the Borough, and after listening to your priorities as part of the ‘All in One’ survey consultation, the Conservative run Council implemented an annual community road and pavement fund of £35,000 to allow resident to nominate their suggestions for the streets most in need within your village area.
The closing date for nominations is 13th December 2013.
Cllr Gareth Elliott, Whitton Ward Councillor, said: “Highways maintenance continues throughout the Borough but we recognise that the schedule can run over many years. The Conservatives recognise that roads and pavements are a clear priority for our residents so we have created this £35,000 community annual fund to allow residents the chance to nominate a road or pavement to jump up the queue. If you have a road or pavement that you think is in particular need please submit your suggestion using the link below.”
