Conservatives support Whitton businesses as part of Small Business Saturday

On a chilly Saturday Whitton’s Conservatives were supporting the small businesses of Whitton by promoting the shops and cafes up and down the high street as part of Small Business Saturday.

With business cards and leaflets from an array of shops Whitton’s Conservative Team spoke to shoppers about what was available and directed them to other opportunities that they might not have known about already. From cafes, nail bars, bread shops, bric a brac, fruit and veg, and motorbike and bicycles Whitton offers a wealth of shopping delights.

Cllr Gareth Elliott said: “It was great to see so many people out on what was a chilly November Saturday. Once again Whitton’s shopkeepers have proved their resilience with new shops popping up and old favourites still going strong. I was excited to hear from the many people how happy they were with the High Street’s upgrades and their confidence in the future, which can only be a good thing for Whitton’s small businesses, shops and cafés.”
